We’re Hiring: Level 2 Computer Technician (MSP Environment)

Location: Colville Street, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago

Basic Job Description

• • Analyzing computer hardware problems, rectifying them, servicing and replacing parts when necessary.

• • Installing software, demonstrating its usage and troubleshooting when users are faced with problems.

• • Updating system software when required.

• • Setting up and solving problems with computer network systems, cabling and wireless networks.

• • Configuring email accounts through POP3, Outlook, IMAP and MS Exchange.

• • Anti-virus software installation, reporting new virus files and malware removal.

• • Maintaining back up files.

• • Setting up equipment for web conferences and other events that use computers and their peripherals.

Other Key Responsibilities

Administer, manage, and troubleshoot:

• • Microsoft SharePoint

• • Active Directory (AD), Entra ID (Azure AD) & Entra Hybrid ID

• • Group Policy Objects (GPOs) via AD and/or Microsoft Intune

• • Exchange Offline email archiving and retention policies

• • Configure and support:

• • Server Certificates

• • Windows Server VPNs with Multi-Factor Authentication

• • Port forwarding/NAT policies on firewalls

• • Microsoft Windows Autopilot (Not necessary but will be an asset)

• • Independently manage projects from start to finish:

• • PBX installations

• • CCTV installations

• • Network Installations

• • Access Point Installations

• • Alarm Installations

• • E-mail domain migrations

Requirements

• • 5 O level passes.

• • A + Certification.

• • Network + Certification.

• • Any additional certification would be beneficial.

• • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar L2 technician or system administration role

• • Proven experience working in an MSP or multi-tenant IT environment

• • Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Azure AD

• • Experience configuring and maintaining VPNs, firewall rules, and endpoint security solutions

• • Spearheaded site surveys to implement PBX, CCTV, Alarm and/or Network infrastructure

• • Strong customer-facing and communication skills

• • Ability to work independently and handle simultaneous projects

• • Must Own a Good Working Vehicle
